Public education is the seed from which the American Dream grows. It is the key to upward mobility, the means by which equal opportunity can become reality. It is a promise we make to each other that no matter who you are or where you live, your children will be given the tools they need to have the best possible shot at their own pursuit of happiness.

Instead of expanding failed "reform" experiments that strip away local control and oversight of school, Andy wants to expand support for the local teachers and other professionals who are trained to educate our kids. Andy will also work to restore cuts that have taken money out of our classrooms and provide more support to schools who serve our most vulnerable children.
